I’m Anastasiia, currently a Freelance UI/UX Designer and Web Developer. My work features a vivid, modern aesthetic inspired by video games, movies, entertainment, and consumer brand companies.
I love to travel! I’ve lived in quite a few places, too. I grew up in Ukraine, lived in Poland, Turkey, and LA, and now I’m working in the Chicago area.
I adapt quickly to new environments and draw inspiration from my experiences and the work of other professionals across various fields. People often describe me as responsible, enthusiastic, goal-oriented, tactful, and diligent.

Visual design /

I’m pretty confident in my visual design skills, my clients are always happy with my work.

Rapid Prototyping /

I work pretty fast. I have my UI kits and design system that I’m working with and that helps me to save time.

Responsive Layouts /

I use grids in my design, and I also know just enough HTML/CSS to be dangerous (in a good way!), I actually do know what layouts would be responsive.

development /

My knowledge of the site-building process makes it easier to communicate with developers.

Information Architecture /

Hierarchy on a page,bining visual design, responsive layouts, and system design is what makes this a strong skill of mine.

system design /

This was one of my primary jobs at TrueCar: building reusable components and thinking about how it fits within the system with specific use cases. I also refer to Google’s Material styleguide like a bible.

I like to read books in which I can be a dangerous assassin riding the best (obviously) dragon, and kicking the a** of supreme evil;
Big part of design knowledge I got from YouTube;
As a child, I dreamed of being a singer, but they say I'm better at designing.
